Spotify / Apple Musicが重要な理由
SpotifyとApple Musicは、世界中で広く利用されている主要な音楽ストリーミングサービスです。
ここで積み重なる再生数やリスナー数は、G-DRAGONが世界でどれだけ聴かれているかを示す重要な数字になります。
また、SpotifyやApple Musicなどのストリーミング実績は、Billboard Global 200をはじめとするグローバルチャートにもつながります。
さらに、グローバル音源成績が評価に関わるアワードもあるため、GDJPではSpotify / Apple Musicでの継続的なストリーミングを大切にしています。
2025年のMAMAでは、公開された審査基準をもとに作成された中間予測において、G-DRAGONは韓国国内のデジタル成績では非常に強い一方、グローバルストリーミングのポイントが相対的に弱いことが課題として可視化されました。
これは公式の最終結果ではなく予測データでしたが、Spotify / Apple Musicなどでのグローバルストリーミングが、受賞を目指すうえで重要な要素であることを改めて示すきっかけとなりました。

2026年、新たにGlobal-K Chartがスタートしました。
Global-K Chartは、
Melon (韓国)
TME / Tencent Music (中国)
LINE MUSIC (日本)
の公式データをもとに集計される、アーティスト単位のK-POPチャートです。
BIGBANGもGlobal-K Chartの対象となっており、BiiiGだけでなく、BIGBANGのさまざまな楽曲を聴くことがアーティストとしての成績につながります。
日本では、LINE MUSICがGlobal-K Chartに反映される唯一の公式プラットフォームです。
そしてMMA 2026では、Global-K Chartと連動した新たな受賞部門
「Global TOP10」 が新設されました。
候補30組はGlobal-K Chartの累積スコアをもとに選出され、最終結果はチャートスコア60％・審査20％・投票20％で決定されます。
Spotify / Apple Musicとは反映される指標や目的が異なるため、LINE MUSICは日本から参加できる新たな応援方法のひとつです。
それぞれのプラットフォームには、それぞれの役割があります。
Spotify / Apple Musicは、グローバルでのストリーミング実績やリスナー規模、世界的なチャートでの存在感を支える重要なプラットフォームです。

確実にストリーミング数を増やすために。
より確実に再生数へつなげるため、GDJPでは以下の方法をおすすめしています。
▪ 同じ曲だけを連続してリピートし続けない
▪ 端末にダウンロードした音源ではなく、必ずオンラインで再生する
▪ 楽曲は最後まで再生する
▪ 普段の音楽視聴と組み合わせながら自然にストリーミングする
→同じ曲だけを繰り返し再生したり、不自然な再生を続けた場合、すべての再生が有効なストリーミングとして反映されない可能性があります。

より効率的にストリーミングを続ける方法として、Stationheadもご活用ください。
Stationheadでは、Spotify PremiumまたはApple Musicのアカウントを接続することで、配信を楽しみながらストリーミングに参加できます。

また、BIGBANG 20周年期間にはBIGBANG専用チャンネルも運営しています。

Stationheadとは？
Stationhead (ステーションヘッド ) は、参加者全員で同じ曲を同時に聴いてリスニングパーティーを楽しめるアプリです。
Spotify Premium or Apple Music を連携させて、配信者がストリーミングサービスから直接音楽を流す仕組み。
リスナーはチャットで交流しながら、再生数がアーティストの公式ストリーミングにカウントされるのが大きな特徴です。
※例えば、配信に100人が参加。BiiiGを1曲配信者が流して100人がBiiiGを1回聴けば、再生数は100回再生とカウントされます。

Each individual play adds up, contributing to streaming performance, chart results, awards, and other forms of measurable support for an artist’s career.
2026 marks BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary.
Alongside G-DRAGON’s solo activities, let’s continue sharing BIGBANG’s music with the world.
WHY ARE SPOTIFY AND APPLE MUSIC IMPORTANT?
Spotify and Apple Music are two of the world’s most widely used major music streaming platforms.
The streams and listener numbers accumulated on these platforms are important indicators of how widely G-DRAGON’s music is being heard around the world.
Streaming performance on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music can also contribute to global charts, including the Billboard Global 200.
In addition, some global music awards take global digital performance into account as part of their evaluation. This is why GDJP places importance on consistent streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
At the 2025 MAMA Awards, an unofficial mid-year projection based on the publicly available judging criteria highlighted an area that needed attention: while G-DRAGON was performing very strongly in domestic digital metrics in Korea, his points from global streaming were comparatively lower.
This was not an official result, but rather a projection based on available data. It served as a reminder of the importance of global streaming on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music when it comes to competing for awards.
Please note that projections are not official results and may differ from the actual final results.
Streaming numbers are more than just play counts.
They are one of the indicators of an artist’s global reach and presence.
AWARDS AND STREAMING
While evaluation criteria vary from one award show to another, major music awards may consider factors such as:
▪ Physical album sales
▪ Digital sales
▪ Streaming performance
▪ Video views, including YouTube
▪ Judges’ scores
▪ Fan voting
Not every award uses all of these criteria, and the weighting and methodology vary by award show.
The streams we build day by day can contribute to chart performance, awards, and other meaningful results.
GLOBAL-K CHART AND LINE MUSIC
In 2026, the Global-K Chart was launched.
Global-K Chart is an artist-based K-pop chart calculated using official data from:
Melon (South Korea)
TME / Tencent Music (China)
LINE MUSIC (Japan)
BIGBANG is also eligible for the Global-K Chart, meaning that listening to not only “BiiiG” but also BIGBANG’s wider catalog can contribute to the group’s overall artist performance.
In Japan, LINE MUSIC is currently the only official platform whose data is reflected in the Global-K Chart.
At the 2026 MMA Awards, a new award category linked to the Global-K Chart, “Global TOP 10" was also introduced.
The 30 nominees are selected based on their cumulative Global-K Chart scores, with the final results determined by:
60% Chart Score · 20% Judges · 20% Voting
Because LINE MUSIC uses different metrics and serves a different purpose from Spotify and Apple Music, it provides another way for fans in Japan to support BIGBANG.
EACH PLATFORM HAS ITS OWN ROLE
Spotify and Apple Music are important platforms for building global streaming performance, listener reach, and visibility on worldwide charts.
LINE MUSIC provides a way for fans in Japan to contribute to the Global-K Chart and, in turn, the “Global TOP 10” category at the 2026 MMA Awards.
This does not mean that one platform is more important than another.
Please choose the services that work best for you and your listening habits, and enjoy streaming consistently at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
HOW TO STREAM IN A WAY THAT CAN HELP YOUR STREAMS COUNT
To help ensure that your listening activity is properly reflected as streams, GDJP recommends the following:
▪ Avoid continuously replaying the same song on repeat
▪ Stream online rather than playing downloaded audio files
▪ Let songs play through to the end
▪ Incorporate streaming naturally into your regular listening habits
→ Repeatedly playing the same song or generating streams through unnatural listening patterns may result in some plays not being counted as valid streams.
To help ensure your streams are properly counted, please stream while online.
USING STATIONHEAD
Stationhead is another way to enjoy streaming together with other fans.
By connecting your Spotify Premium or Apple Music account to Stationhead, you can join listening parties and enjoy music while participating in streaming activities.

WHAT IS STATIONHEAD?
Stationhead is an app that allows fans to listen to the same songs together in real time and enjoy listening parties as a community.
By connecting your Spotify Premium or Apple Music account, hosts can play music directly from these streaming services during a live session.
One of Stationhead’s key features is that listeners can interact through the chat while their listening activity can count toward the artist’s official streaming numbers.
For example: If 100 people join a session and the host plays “BiiiG” once, with all 100 listeners streaming the song, that can result in 100 streams being counted.

In the Stationhead app, go to your profile and tap:

Then log in with your Spotify or Apple Music account.

・If your username does not appear in the list, your Spotify or Apple Music account may not be connected correctly.
・Please reconnect your account by following the steps above.

2. LISTEN THROUGH YOUR CONNECTED STREAMING SERVICE
Once your Spotify or Apple Music account is connected, the music played by the host will automatically play through your connected streaming service.
You do not need to open Spotify or Apple Music separately.
Simply stay in the Stationhead session and listen. Your listening activity can then be reflected in the artist’s streaming numbers.
